Privacy Policy
In short: Shoply stores all data only on your device. The app does not send anything to the internet and has no permission to do so. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no sharing with third parties.

What data the app stores
Shopping lists, items, prices, expenses, stores, categories, budgets, savings goals and settings (design, language). You enter them yourself. They are kept in a database in the app’s private storage.
Backups
- Automatic backups (the last 5) are kept in the app’s private storage on the device.
- Export: if you create a backup file and share it, you decide where it goes (for example cloud storage or e-mail). From then on the privacy policy of the chosen service applies. The file is not encrypted; do not keep it in public folders.
- Android cloud backup and automatic transfer to a new phone are switched off. When you move to a new phone, export your data as a file and import it there.
Deletion
Under More → Data and backup → “Delete all data” you remove all entries. A safety copy is created first; it and the automatic backups stay in the app’s private storage until you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings. Uninstalling the app removes its data from the device.
Permissions
Shoply only needs: notifications (for your reminders, local on the device), fingerprint/face (optional, for the app lock) and start after a restart (so reminders keep working). No internet, no location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone.
App lock
The PIN is only stored as a salted hash in a file in the app’s private storage, never in plain text and never in exports or backups. The lock protects the app’s interface, not the file itself. If you forget the PIN, you can identify yourself with your phone’s lock (PIN, pattern, password or any biometrics set up there, confirmed through the system) and set a new PIN; no data is lost. This way out can be switched off in settings. If the phone has no lock or the way out is off, the only option is a reset: all data on the device is deleted (after two confirmations). A file you exported earlier can be imported again afterwards.
